BOX Partners teamed up with Food For Greater Elgin to help fight hunger in our communities. The incredible generosity of our employees, who collected and donated non-perishable foods to help many families in need this holiday season, was humbling. Food For Greater Elgin combats food insecurity in the most effective and supportive ways possible by giving our communities the resources they need. Their mission is to provide food security and access to community resources to stabilize lives.

Food For Greater Elgin serves our communities with the help of incredible volunteers and a compassionate set of values.

• Integrity and positive stewardship of all donated resources – funds, time, or food

Since 2011, Food For Greater Elgin has helped more than 9,000 households in Elgin and surrounding communities, equating to more than 34,000 individuals who received food. In addition to its food pantry, Food For Greater Elgin delivers food to low-income neighborhoods, senior living facilities, and people shut in for medical reasons.
